Can you sew ink jet cotton transfer sheets without adhering to a fabric base?

I have the cotton fabric sheets to be run through my printer. I'd like to use these directly as a part of a quilt block. These sheets are by Jacquard, Ink Jet cotton sheets. Do they have to be fused on to another piece of fabric before being sewn?

I've used store bought fabric printer sheets and I use them just like I would any other piece of fabric. I believe that's how they are supposed to be used. I don't think it was the same brand, but it shouldn't matter. If it is cotton fabric, you print on it and sew it in your quilt. Just be sure to follow the directions on making it colorfast.
You won't need to use bubble jet set because the sheets are already prepared for ink-jet printers and already have paper on the back. I've used bubble jet set to make my own fabric printer sheets. I prefer making my own. The store bought sheets had a sort of rubbery texture. But they are still OK to use.
