Road Quilt Kit
This winter, I went to a nearby town for the day. When I left home was in part sun and I thought a light sweater enough to wear during the day. At the last minute I had on my jacket. In two hours time the weather changed to blizzard conditions. It was snowing, blow, and cut electricity. Because the storm is a little worried and wondered if it would even be able to return home due to storm snow. I thought I had everything in the trunk of my car I need to cover I could not go home through the storm so I felt safe being prepared (at least I thought).
I checked the trunk when I got home and found it had all the emergency supplies. What a rude awakening for me. I took my calendar with my first aid kit, blanket, emergency kit, all I had to emergency situations and never give up.
Last week, I was out of town and my daughter saw a tire in my car was completely flat. I said with confidence to use the "fix a flat pan" in the trunk to get my car to the garage for repair. It is an inflator and sealing tires. This is a Foam is easy to use and allows you to ride on the wheel for several miles that can repair the roof. I had to use this product several years ago I know it works. What peace of mind is simple, it gives me when I'm driving my car. Did not get a cat or tools and that the seals and inflates in minutes.
No matter the time or circumstances is a good idea to have some basic supplies in our vehicles. This means that in a vehicle or a member of our family.
Here is a list of supplies available to keep our vehicles in case of emergency:
Jumper cables and / or ... A 3-in-1 power of 12 volts. It includes
1) a system Emergency "Jump Start";
2) a DC 12 volt power is a source of portable power for lights, radio, mobile phones;
3) the long-term illumination for emergency roadside, work areas and campsites.
Car Jack may have to use one day, it is important to know how to use it. (In fact, the practice of changing a tire before an emergency arises).
Spare Tire Check monthly to make sure it is pumped and ready.
Fix a flat in a box
A first aid kit.
Flares
There are roadside emergency kits you can buy that are ready to go.
A sleeping bag, blanket. I had an old blanket in my trunk for years thinking I was hot. We test and concludes that it is hot everywhere. Select a blanket to keep warm. Also can be useful if you change a tire and was lying on the floor.
A flashlight that works, check if the batteries are not quarterly.
Drinking water
Sit down and think what you need in case emergency break or when you're in your car and make your own team for their specific needs.
Keep everything organized in a container that fits your vehicle if it is in the trunk of a car, jeep, truck, SUV or minivan. Tranquility prepared to be worth its weight gold.
